• MusicWorks optional Insurance gives you peace of mind with your Rental Instrument at a minimal cost.

Pricing on Insurance
Pricing on insurance is dependant on the the rental plan you have chosen; whether it is monthly, 6 monthly, school year, or full year.
For example: an entry level monthly flute rental of has an optional insurance fee of $6 per month. This is simply added to your monthly payment.
If it is a half year rental then an optional fee for the half year would apply and so on.
What Am I Covered For?
Theft
In the event of theft, you are required to supply the original copy of the police report covering the facts of the theft. The instrument will then be replaced with one of like age, condition and value.
Fire and Accidental Damage
MusicWorks will either repair satisfactorily or replace the instrument with one of like age, condition and value. This is solely at the discretion of MusicWorks.
What Am I Not Covered For?
(1) Any condition that does not affect the playing performance.
(2) Any repair that is not conducted by MusicWorks or an appointed MusicWorks agent voids any cover.
(3) Refinishing of lacquer and plated finishes is not covered.
(4) Consumables that are used in the normal operation or unkeep are considered the responsibility of the user.
For Example:
• Strings
• Reeds
• Oils
• Cork Grease
• Swabs
• Sticks
• Rosin etc
Accessories
These are supplied with the instrument when hired and the user is only liable for any items lost or damaged.
The accessories supplied with the instrument when you hired are the responsibilty of the user.
You are liable for loss or damage of these items. They include items such as; neck straps, mouthpieces, ligatures, caps, cleaning rods, bows, shoulder straps etc.
When Am I Not Covered?
Instruments are only covered for the period plan paid for.
Cover lapses when payments are overdue. In the case of fire or theft, instruments will only be replaced once.
